Sparta Removes Homes From Sprinkler Requirement

City Of Sparta amended its city ordinance to clarify sprinkler requirements for residential dwellings. Codes Officer Mike O’Neal said the actual rules required sprinklers in all residential dwellings, but city officials had waived that for single family dwellings. Sparta’s Peacock Express is planning to expand its store on Bockman Way. Sparta Codes Officer Mike O’Neal said the owners have submitted plans to add a service center and fast food restaurant.
