The White County Board of Education will start its December 15 meeting discussing contract negotiations with Director of Schools Kurt Dronebarger. Chairman Bob Young said standard negotiations happen in April, but because Dronebarger’s four-year contract ends in June there would have to be a complete renewal. The White County School System has named Shauna Hicks the new principal of Cassville Elementary School. Director of Schools Kurt Dronebarger said that Hicks is a veteran White County educator and that they believe that her education and experience will make her an excellent leader at this great school.
