Crawdaddy’s Interior Structurally Sound With Fire Contained Outside

Interior fire damage to Crawdaddy’s is limited as Building Owner Peter Metts went through and surveyed the scene Wednesday morning. A fire broke out Saturday morning in Cookeville’s downtown district along East Broad Street. Cookeville Fire Chief Daryl Blair said the fire at the Sports One store was contained quickly. The City of Cookeville will study ways to ease storm runoff in the Capshaw area north of Broad Street.
