Flash flooding across Putnam and Overton Counties Sunday night causing damage.
The worst problems in Putnam County were in the Baxter area where crews had to rescue an individual in a car. Double Springs Road, McBroom Chapel Road, Plunk Whiston Road, Martin Creek Road, Pharris Road, Locust Grove Road, Eaton Road, Highway 70 at Echo Valley all impassable Sunday night as storms rolled in after 7pm.
Watch for debris Monday morning as waters recede.
National Weather Service Forecasters estimated between three and four inches of rain fell in the Rickman area in a two-hour period.
A home along Rickman Road and Southwood Road flooded. Part of the roadway also wasted out. Henson Street, Windle Street, Oak Street all reported flooding.
Emergency officials said they had not seen that kind of flooding in Rickman since 2010.
