Steel Coop Restaurant To Open In Livingston

A new restaurant will be opening in Livingston in the coming weeks.

The Steel Coop plans to open in the downtown area within the next two weeks, according to Livingston Mayor Curtis Hayes.

“It’s gonna be a surf n turf restaurant. If you are familiar with Livingston, it’s going to be in the El Ray’s Mexican restaurant building,” Hayes said. “They’ve done major renovations and we are just proud to have them.”

Hayes said it’s one of several new stores and restaurants to open up in the downtown area over the last 18 months.
