Spring Cleanup Week Going On In Livingston

Livingston’s Clean up Week began today.

Mayor Curtis Hayes said this week residents can place any unwanted items at the curb for pickup.

“It’s a good opportunity to clean up the town a little bit,” Mayor Hayes said. “They just bring their discarded items to the curbside and we take it from there at no extra cost.”

Items that will not be picked up include tires…chemicals…wire…fence and paint. Building materials will be picked up but the individual will have to pay for their disposal.

Chemicals will need to be taken to the recycling center.

Cleanup week will be going on through Friday, May 4th.
