Spencer To Vote On Liquor By Drink In November

The citizens of Spencer will get the chance to vote on liquor by the drink this November.

The Spencer Town Council voted Thursday night to put the question to referendum.

The council took no action on a new restaurant being built in Spencer that wanted to serve beer. Several citizens spoke against the proposal during the public comment portion of the meeting.

No council member put forth a resolution for the restaurant.
