A federal judge has sentenced a Sparta woman charged with stealing $3 million from a New Jersey trucking company.
55-year-old Tracey Perrigan will serve a 33-month sentence after pleading guilty to wire fraud.
Prosecutors said Perrigan authorized purchases by company drivers when she worked at the New Jersey facility. Investigators found that Perrigan used a program called Comcheck to send $3.5 million in company funds to a trucking company she owned in Sparta with her husband between 2007 and 2015.
The judge has ordered Perrigan to pay restitution.
