DeKalb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Smithville man on multiple counts of burglary.
34-year-old Ryan Davis Taylor was initially charged after he allegedly broke into the same shed twice at a residence in Liberty. Additional charges were filed after Sheriff Patrick Ray and deputies went to Taylor’s house to serve a search warrant and found more stolen property from other burglaries. Taylor’s bond was set at $160,500 and he’ll appear in court November 2.
He was charged with one count of aggravated burglary, five counts of burglary, one count of theft of property under $1,000, three counts of theft of property over $1,000, two counts of theft over $10,000 and two counts of vandalism.
