A judge has scheduled a January preliminary hearing date for a Smith County man accused of three shootings in a span of one night last month.
55-year-old Stacye Lee Nash remains behind bars on charges of attempted first-degree murder. That charge stems from one of the shooting incidents on November 26th, in which Nash allegedly fired shots towards his step-son who suffered superficial wounds.
Nash is also accused of shooting and wounding his wife the same night and later firing shots towards responding officer who returned fire and struck Nash.
More charges are expected to filed against Nash when the TBI presents its investigation to a grand jury.
