The skeletal remains found during the March tornado search have been identified.
Cookeville Police report the remains are those of 34-year-old Brian Matthew Keserich. Keserich was originally from Kentucky with no known last address. He is believed to have been homeless. The death remains under investigation. However, no foul play is suspected at this time.
On March 4th during search and rescue from the March 3rd tornado in Putnam County, a deceased individual was located within a collapsed tent in a wooded area near Miller Road.
The skeletal remains of the unidentified individual were recovered and sent to the Davidson County Medical Examiner’s Office.
