Residents of Cumberland County’s Albert Frye Road picketed the official groundbreaking of the new Shooting Sports Park Monday morning.
Residents have said noise and traffic from the $2.2 million Shooting Sports Park will ruin their quality of life.
When it opens, the park will provide shooting practice for sports, youth and law enforcement. Archery training will also be availabel.
Officials from Crossville, Cumberland County and the TWRA attended the groundbreaking.
