Search Continues For Missing Jamestown Man

The search for a missing Jamestown man entered its second day Thursday.

Bobby George Cook reported missing Wednesday around 7:25 a.m. after he failed to show up for work at Cookeville’s Bennett Industries.

Fentress County Sheriff Michael Reagan said Thursday deputies have continued efforts to locate Cook and interviewed several individuals on Thursday.

“If the public does see this person they need to call 911 and tell us where he’s at,” Reagan said. “All help would be appreciated.”

According to a sheriff’s department statement, Cook’s mother last saw her son around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday after he stopped by her home on the way to work. Cook has not returned to his home and did not show up for work on Thursday.

“They [deputies] have been out looking today are still out right now going to another residence trying to find somebody that might know the whereabouts of him,” Reagan said.

Reagan said Cook was driving a gold 2004 Nissan Sentra license plate # BPV-185.
