A Sparta man faces charges after authorities located more than 58-grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Tuesday.
White County Sheriff’s Office charged Michael Daniel Scoglione with possessing, selling, delivering, and manufacturing the schedule II drug.
An arrest warrant said deputies came in contact with Scoglione after conducting a traffic stop for a seat belt violation on Cashdollar Cove Road.
After gaining consent to search Scoglione’s vehicle, deputies located 58.5 grams of methamphetamine inside a white cup. They later found three additional grams of meth during a search of Scoglione’s home.
Scoglione will make his initial court appearance April 30.
