Community members had the chance to tour the renovated SAIC office space Monday.
SAIC’s Cookeville site manager Karen Langley:
“We’re celebrating that we’re now here officially and open and operational and we wanted to give the community an opportunity to see what we’ve done, because they’ve been a great part of us getting here,” Langley said.
Langley said the site opened in June in temporary office space. They moved into the new renovated space in the former Regions Bank building in July.
SAIC announced Cookeville would serve as their newest Gateway office in May. The defense department contractor intends to hire 300 Information Technology professionals in the next few years.
