Safety Upgrades At Sparta’s Highway 111/US 70 Begin

Work will begin this week on improvements to the US-70/Highway 111 interchange in Sparta.

The improvements are safety-focused, involving grading, drainage changes and improved signals.

T-DOT Officials estimate the work will take most of the summer, with completion set for August.

Motorists advised to use caution in the area as workers will begin installing signage and other construction materials.
