Safety Drill At Warren County Middle Set For Monday

A safety drill will take place Monday afternoon at Warren County Middle School, testing emergency personnel on a potential gas leak.

Warren County Director Of Schools Grant Swallows told parents in a letter sent last week that the drill would help emergency personnel work on evacuation of the building and reunification. Swallows said students will be removed to the Milner Recreation Center via bus. The event will be treated as a real-life situation with students being organized at the recreation center.

The drill will take place at the end of the day, with students set to be dismissed from the recreation center. Swallows said several roads will be closed during the drill to help effectively move students.
