A 20-year-old man faces charges in Cookeville for sexually exploiting a minor by electronic means.
Authorities booked Dustin Reed Rugh into the Putnam County Jail on $100,000 bond Wednesday.
A grand jury indicted Rugh earlier this year after Cookeville Police searched his home in December. The indictments charge Rugh with sexual exploitation of a minor and soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means.
According to a press release from the Cookeville Police Department, Rugh relocated to Allegheny, Pennsylvania after being notified of the indictment. Sheriff’s deputies from Allegheny County arrested Rugh earlier this year. He was transported back to Putnam County this week.
