‘Road Hunters’ Captured In Clay County

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) reports the capture of individuals responsible for allegedly shooting a deer from a vehicle.

Clay County Wildlife Sergeant Bill Moulton responded to the call last week. Moulton and K-9 Chip located the deer after following a blood trail near the location of the incident.

A TWRA Facebook post said the officer confiscated three weapons during the investigation. Officials have not identified the suspect or suspects facing charges.

TWRA Public Information Officer Mimi Barnes said the agency did file charges in the case.
