Retail Consultant Shares Companies Interested In Moving To Livingston

Two coffee chains, a sandwich concept and a burger restaurant are reviewing sites to enter the Livingston market.

The city hired a national retail consultant last year to identify areas of sales tax leakage and recruit businesses. Retail Coach Project Director Kyle Cofer said the company has sent potential locations to the interested companies.

“We’ve sent them everything in the market that works and fits their criteria,” Cofer said. “Really our next step is trying to get them to the market to do a site tour. Getting in the car with myself and the mayor, things are much easier to sell once a site tour is in place.”

Cofer said two Nashville brockers are also interested but have not shared which brands it represents. Cofer said so far, the work has been successful but no companies have indicated a time line of visiting the area.
