The Cookeville Rescue Mission store will soon be closing down.
Bruce Bailey is the Executive Director of the Cookeville Rescue Mission. He said the store will probably close no later than August 1st.
“We have to consolidate our operations in our present location and make more efficient use of our space,” Bailey said. “The store is actually costing us money to run, so we want to be good business stewards and make better use of that space.”
The space will be used for small group counseling sessions for the clients, he said.
Bailey said clothing donations will still be accepted, but other donations will no longer be accepted once the store closes.
