Congressman John Rose has been awarded a Guardian of Small Business Award by the National Federation of Independent Business.
“I will always support pro-growth policies and oppose burdensome regulations and tax policies that stifle the entrepreneurial spirit on which the American dream was founded,” Rose said in a release. “I am honored to receive this award and to represent many small businesses across Middle Tennessee in Congress.”
The award is presented to members of Congress that voted in the interest of small businesses more than 70 percent of the time. Those awarded supported small businesses that faced threats that emerged during the pandemic such as inflation and workforce shortages.
“The NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award is presented to Members of Congress who have proven themselves to be real champions of small business,” NFIB President and CEO Brad Close said in a release. “This Congress, small businesses emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic but faced continual threats of high inflation, workforce shortages, and supply chain disruptions. These NFIB Guardians demonstrated strong support of small businesses on key issues.”
