Julie Taylor Catlin, Age 60, Of Wilder Passed Away On Monday, September 24, 2018 At Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Ms. Linda Michelle Dunham LaFever, age 48 of Sparta, will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, September 27, 2018 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Frasier’s Chapel Cemetery. Michelle graduated from this life Sunday night September 23, 2018 at her residence after a brave battle with cancer. Michelle was born December 31, 1969 in Sparta to Sue Wilson Dunham and the late Edwin Ray “Buddy” Dunham. She worked as an agent for Cumberland Insurance for the last 15 years. She loved to travel and spending time with her children. Surviving family members include her son Zane (Rachel) LaFever; Daughter: Izzy Miller; Mother: Sue Dunham; Granddaughter: Audrie LaFever; Brother: Jimmy (Kim) Dunham; Fiance: Billy Gilbert; Aunts: Joyce (Danny) Kirby, Mary (Carl) Sparks, Kathy (David) Guy, Faye (Creston) Massey, Jane (Jack) Lieb; Uncles: Bobby (Diana) Wilson, Roger (Melinda) Wilson, James (Jennifer) Wilson, Junior (Connie) Dunham; Many beloved cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home.

Funeral services for William Lloyd Billings, age 80 of Baxter, Tennessee, will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 5:00-9:00PM and Thursday, September 27th from 8:00AM until time of service at 2:00PM. Mr. Billings passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Signature Healthcare in Putnam County. William Lloyd Billings was born on September 5, 1938 in DeKalb County, TN to the late William Richard Clyde and Ora Mae (Mahan) Billings. He was of the Christian faith. Lloyd owned and operated Billings Crane Service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Clara (Dunn) Billings; Mother-In-Law & Father-In-Law: Jessie and Sam Dunn; Beloved Sister-In-Law: Margie Hickey; Beloved Sons: David Eugene and Daniel Lloyd Billings; Grandson: Anthony Billings; 2 Brothers: John Anson and Joel David Billings.

Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Erlene Bost, age 79 of Cookeville will be held Friday September 28 at 10 a.m. at Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Bost died Tuesday September 25, 2018 at 7:20 p.m. in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Bost family will receive friends Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Emogene Dyer, 95, of Baxter will be Friday, September 28 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Dyer died Monday, September 24, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1923 in Putnam County to the Bert Scruggs and Sally Bettie Boyd Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings W. Dyer on November 23, 1999 and a grandson Timothy Scott Dyer. She was a homemaker and employed with Cookeville Red Kap for many years. She was a caregiver for her parents. She was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden, flowers and sewing. Survivors include daughter Brenda (Larry) McNabb of Danville, California, sons Aaron (Barbara) Dyer of Cookeville, J.B. ( Betty) Dyer of Deland, Fl, 8 grandchildren: Ken (Sue) Dyer, Jeff (Sheila) Dyer, Randy (Angie) Dyer, Rhonda (Kurt) Phillips, Kyle (Jennifer) McNabb, Kim (Jeff) Lind, Matthew (Melissa) Dyer, Mark (Kimberly) Benedict, 17 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday From 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rita Mae Carter, age 75 of Algood, will be held Saturday September 29th at 11 a.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Algood Heritage Cemetery. Mrs. Carter’s family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. She died Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Bethesda Health Care Center.

Memorial services for Willene Judd Reed, 89, of Cookeville will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Daughrity and Horace Burks officiating. Inurnment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Mrs. Reed passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at her home. She was born Saturday, October 13, 1928 in Cookeville, TN to the late Walter Carr and Inda Judd. Mrs. Reed spent part of her life in Roseville, MI where she was a homemaker. She attended Sycamore and Zion Church of Christ. Willene loved taking care of her family and spending time with them and her friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Reed and a brother, Walter Judd. Willene is survived by son, Rick Reed and wife Pam of Cookeville; daughter, Sharon Lee and husband Francis of Lebanon, TN; four grandchildren, Tiffany Reed of Chattanooga, Will Reed of Cookeville, Jacob (Kayla) Lee of Lebanon and Josh (Kelly) Lee of Ramsey, NJ; six great grandchildren; brother in law, Tom Reed and wife Carolyn of Arizona. The family will receive friends Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The family request memorial contributions be made to Sycamore Church of Christ for their SOC college group, 1144 Crescent Dr. Cookeville, TN 38501.

Funeral services for Mr. Larry “ Pee Wee” Raymond Cherry, age 55 of Gainesboro, will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 3 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Jonestown Cemetery located in Moss. Larry passed away from this life at his residence on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Mr. Larry “Pee Wee” Raymond Cherry was born in Gallatin to the late Rentford M. and Audrey (Reecer) Cherry. Larry was a car detailer. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors: He is survived by 5 Brothers: Steve Cherry, Stanley Cherry, Barry Cherry, Danny Cherry, Connie Mack Cherry; 3 Sisters: Patricia Cherry Bybee, Janet Cherry Shrum, Sheila Cherry Lea. A host of Nieces and Nephews whom he loved very much. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: Twin brother Jerry Cherry. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the funeral home starting at 10 AM until the service time at 3 PM.
