Jon Leon Morris, age 44 of Cookeville, passed from this life Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. He was born Monday, June 3, 1974 in Memphis. He was the son of Lawrence Morris and the late Margaret Brigman Morris. He was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and a Great Uncle. He loved his family dearly. He loved the Boston Red sox, and all sports activities. In addition to his Father, Jon is survived by: Wife: Stephanie Harness of Cookeville; 2 Sisters: Connie and husband David Frazier of Cookeville, Tanya Syvertsen of Guilford, CT; Brothers-in-law: Brad Cunningham of Clinton, CT, Christopher Syvertsen of Guilford, CT; 3 Stepchildren; Tyler, Gracie, and Olivia; 3 Nieces: Cameron, Brook, and Amber; 1 Nephew: Brad Cunningham, Jr. Several Great Nieces and Nephews. In addition to his Mother, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Lawrence Fredrick Morris, Jr. Jon had chosen cremation and a private ceremony for the immediate family will be held at a later date.

Funeral Services For Velma “Dot” Clements, Age 73, Of Monterey, Will Be Conducted On Thursday, October 4, 2018 At 6:30 PM At Hope In Christ Fellowship, 315 East Peter Avenue, Monterey. Rev. Bobby Floyd Will Officiate. Ms. Clements Was Born On December 1, 1944, In Sparta, To The Late John Frank And Ruby Marie Townsend Randolph. Mr. Passed Away On Sunday, September 30, 2018, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Ms. Clements Was A Homemaker. She Attended Full Gospel Assembly And Hope In Christ Fellowship. She Is Survived By, 2 Daughters And A Son-In-Law, alena And Dewayne Atkinson Of Clarkrange, Cynthia Clements Of Monterey; 3 Grandchildren, Chance Welch, Haley Jacobs And Dylan Murphy; Sisters, Shirley Nagucki Of Monterey, Margie Sims Of MI, Sandra Abrams Of Monterey; 1 Brother, Gary Randolph Of Monterey; In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Daughter, Jolene Wilson; 2 Sisters, Doris Aldridge And Mildred Randolph; And 3 Brothers, Edward, Elmer And Arnold Randolph. Her Wishes Of Cremation Are Being Honored. The Family Will Receive Friends At Hope In Christ On Thursday, October 4, 2018, From 6:00 PM Until Time Of Services At 6:30.

Funeral Services for Merle Jackson, age 79, will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 @ 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of services. Mr. Jackson died on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1939 in Brotherton, TN to the late Herman Clay and Maudie Jones Jackson. His family includes his daughter and son-in-law Lu-Wanna and Tommy Baggett of Louisville, KY and daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Richard Alverson of Lake Mary, FL; one brother Jim Tom Jackson of Logansport, IN, thirteen grandchildren, Nick Hargrove, Michelle Alverson, Jason Alverson, C.J. Simpson, James Farley Baggett, Kati Baggett, Brittany Gary, Ashley Williams, Charles Norris, Lanae Usie, Michael Usie, Matt Norris, and Traeson Usie and nineteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Earl Alverson will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Memorial Services for Wanda Joan Cannon Forgey, age 79 of Doyle, will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 noon till Service time on Thursday. Bro. John Murphy will officiate the service. Forgey passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was the daughter of the late Charles Lewis Cannon and Ruby Pickett Cannon.

Funeral services for Luciano D.J. Chiacchia, age 73 of Cookeville, will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Arlington of Tennessee Cemetery in Putnam County. Mr. Chiacchia passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the NHC of Sparta. Luciano D.J. Chiacchia was born on February 12, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Antonio and Dgostina (Comella) Chiacchia. He worked as a Truck Driver in Trucking. Louie was preceded in death by his wife Betty Willene Chiacchia in 2005. Luciano is survived by a host of extended family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4th from 5:00-9:00PM and Friday 8:00AM till time of the service.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn Clair Davis, age 79, of Baxter, will be at 11 a.m. Friday October 5 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Davis passed away Sunday afternoon September 30, 2018 at her home. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with a Rosary Service beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation on Friday will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Funeral services for Mr. Ricky M. White, age 56 of Livingston, will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Mr. White passed away at his residence on Monday, October 1, 2018. Mr. White was born in Livingston to the late Don and Cassie Pauline White on May 12, 1962. Survivors include: 1 Son: Chad White and wife Ashton; 1 Daughter: Breinna Baker and husband Josh; 4 Grandchildren: Mason, Shelby, Memphis, Kambrie; Ralph White, Johnny White, Danny White, Brenda Laycock. Preceded in death by: His Parents Don and Cassie Pauline White, Donald White, J. R. White, Randall White, Loyd White, Patricia Hicks, Billy White. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, October 4, 2018 4 PM to 8 PM.

Ms. Holloway Passed Away On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, At Her Home. Ms. Holloway Was Born On May 5, 1947, In Monterey, To Delbert Holloway Of Monterey, And The Late Nola Scarbrough Holloway. Ms. Holloway Was Retired From Cummins Filtration In Cookeville With 30 Years Of Service. She Was Baptist In Faith. In Addition To Her Father, She Is Survived By, 2 Grandchildren, Tiffany Sisco Of Crossville, Ashley, And Her Spouse, Julie Fossett Of Crossville; 4 Great Grandchildren, Ariana Goss, Anastasia Anderson, Layah Howard, And Braeleigh Fossett; 1 Sister And Brother-In-Law, Faye And Jack Swafford Of Monterey. In Addition To Her Mother, She Was Preceded In Death By, 2 Daughters, Tammy Hasty And Gina Phillips; And Granddaughter, Jaclyn Phillips. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Friday, October 5, 2018, From 5:00 PM Until 7:00 PM.
