Obituaries For Friday, May 11

Wiley Anthony Tindle , 70 of Sparta passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital. Born Tuesday, September 30, 1947 in Sparta, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Wiley and Mary Smith Tindle. He is survived by his children, Anthony Tindle of Baxter; Angela Tindle of Baxter; David Kirby of Quebeck; Kimberly Smiley of Cookeville; Clifton Lee Tindle of Quebeck; Sammy Tindle of Sparta; Joel Tindle of Quebeck; Evelyn Tindle of Quebeck; Douglas Tindle of Quebeck; Michael Tindle of Quebeck; Kayla Tindle of Quebeck; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Angel of Knoxville; Linda Herren of Knoxville; Alice Vinson of Sparta; Kathy Van Winkle of Crossville; and special friends, Mike and Betty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, R.T. Tindle. The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Denny Ray Padgett, age 59, of Monroe, passed from this life on Thursday afternoon, May 10, 2018. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mr. Wesley H. Grubbs, age 81 of Cookeville, died suddenly, Tuesday, May 8th at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Arrangements for Mr. Grubbs are incomplete.

Funeral services for Mr. Talmadge Earl Clack, age 88 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, May 12th, 11 a.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment following in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Mr. Clack died Wednesday afternoon, May 9, 2018, at Bailey Manor in Cookeville. The family will receive friends Friday, May 11th, 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 12th, 9 a.m. until service time at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Funeral service for James Richard Denton, 68 of Sparta, will be at 11:30 am Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Richard passed away Monday evening, May 7, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 19, 1949 in White County to the late James Elmer and Lena Mae Graham Denton. He was also preceded in death by his sister: Dorothy Marie Adcock. Richard was a devoted Truck Driver. He is survived by his wife: Gladys Faye Stacy Denton of Sparta; Son: Richie Edward (Marcella) Denton; Daughter: Stacey Leona (James) Snodgrass; Grandchildren: Alexis Russell, Todd Russell, Mercedes Mosley, Olivia Pelham, Kaylee Snodgrass, and Cayd Snodgrass; Great-Grandchild: Brooklyn Addison; Special Daughter: Letitia Manus; along with several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends after 5:00 pm Friday evening.

Funeral services for Miss Geneva Coffman, 75 of Cookeville will be held Saturday May 12, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in New Hope Community Church Cemetery in Jackson, County. Miss Coffman died Friday May 11, 2018 at 2:58 a.m. in Standing Stone Care and Rehab. Geneva’s family will receive receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Ms. Audrey Sue England Maxwell, age 66 of Sparta, will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, May 13, 2018 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Taylors Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. She passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital. Audrey was born September 23, 1951 in White County to the late Alpha & Nancy Dildine England. She was retired from Mallory. She was a beloved sister and aunt that enjoyed nothing more than to spoil her nieces and nephews. She was a an avid animal lover as well.

Funeral Services For Naomi England, Age 90, Of Monterey, Will Be Conducted On Monday, May 14, 2018, At 11:00 AM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Mrs. England Passed Away On Thursday, May 10, 2018, At The Standing Stone Care And Rehabilitation Center. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Sunday, May 13, 2018, From 5:00 PM Until 7:00 PM And On Monday, May 14, 2018, From 10:00 AM Until The Time Of Services At 11:00 AM.

Funeral services for A’Shaii Duprae Miles, 5 month son of Joshua Spicer and Oriyana Miles, will be Wednesday, May 16 at 1 PM from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Algood Heritage Cemetery. A’Shaii died Monday, May 7, 2018 at The Children’s Hospital at Tri Star Centennial in Nashville. He was born December 1, 2017 in Cookeville. He was preceded in death by great grandfather, William Cartwright. Survivors in addition to his parents include grandparents: Mitzi Cartwright of Algood, Jamal Miles of Nashville, Cathy Spicer of Ripley, great-grandmother Linda Cartwright of Algood. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Darty, age 79, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, May 19th at 3:00 p.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. He passed away Wednesday May 9, 2018 at NHC of Cookeville. Mr. Darty’s family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
