Obituaries For Friday, June 29

Mr. Harry L Cole, 77 of Walling passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Life Care Center of Sparta. Born Wednesday, January 15, 1941.He was the husband of Ruby Cole. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Mr. Donnie Ray Roberts, age 53 of Sparta, will be conducted 11:00am Saturday, June 30, 2018 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Jericho Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Gene Williams will officiate.

Memorial services for Mr. Kaul Fincher, 93 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, June 30th at 1:00 p.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Mr. Fincher’s family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. He died Tuesday June 26, 2018 at 10:41 a.m. in Signature Health Care Center in Algood.

A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Harold Byron McCartney, age 92, of Algood, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday June 30 at Paran Church with Pastor Danny Whitson officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Mr. McCartney passed away Sunday morning June 24, 2018 at his home.

Celebration of Life Services from Mrs. Linda D. Hatcher Smith, age 65, of Cookeville will be conducted 1 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 from the Fairview Church of Christ in Fairview. Linda passed from this life on June 16, 2018 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1952 in Davidson County to the late James Sr, & Geneva Lawson Hatcher. Linda leaves her son, George Edward Smith of Owensboro, Ky; brothers, Larry Hatcher & wife Pam of Franklin, and Jimmy Hatcher & wife Sherrhea of Fairview; 8 nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends at the time of services at 2001 Fairview Blvd, Fairview, Tenn. 37062.

Funeral services for David Alexander Biauce, age 80 of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday at Trinity Assembly in Algood, TN, with burial to follow at Lottie Smith Cemetery in Monroe, TN. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 2:00-6:00PM at Whitson Funeral Home and Sunday from 2:00-3:00PM at Trinity Assembly. A host of friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Biauce passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. David Alexander Biauce was born on July 13, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Alexander and Antoinette (Ibinski) Biauce. He worked as a Mill Wright and attended the Trinity Assembly in Algood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons: Gerald and Alexander Biauce; and one brother: Timothy Biauce.

The funeral service for Margaret E. Rushton Upchurch, 85 of Cookeville, will be held on Monday July 2, 2018 at 2PM in Gulfport, Mississippi. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Margaret went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack, her parents, Grady and Bardie Rushton, her brothers, Cecil, Harry and Edward Rushton, and her sister, Mary Burger. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Upchurch (Theresa), her granddaughter, Lauren Upchurch Sturgill and her great-grandson, Ethan Sturgill, all of Cookeville and many family members and friends. Margaret was born on July 1, 1932 in Mobile, AL and grew up in Laurel, MS where she met and married the late Jack Upchurch. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for Gulfport Paper and Coast Materials for many years before her retirement. She was a long time and faithful member of the Methodist Church. She and Jack were very active in their church and Margaret was a deeply religious person who cherished her God and Church. She was also a long time member of the Choir. Margaret was known for her cakes and baked goods which she prepared and gave for all occasions. She will be remembered for her kind and giving spirit that always placed the needs of others ahead of her own. She and Jack selflessly gave their time and resources to help anyone in need. She also loved all animals and always had cats and dogs. The family wishes to extend its thanks to Kindred Hospice and Dr. Lori Austin of Cookeville. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12PM until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.

Funeral Services For Martha J. Cooper, Age 86, Of Hanging Limb, Will Be Conducted On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, At 11:00 AM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Bro. Ned Cooper, Bro. Alan Cooper, And Bro. Tim Singleton Will Officiate With Interment To Follow In The F.A. Norrod Cemetery. Mrs. Cooper Was Born On January 31, 1932, In Frankfort, Indiana, To The Late Fletcher And Edith W. Walters Dixon. Mrs. Cooper Passed Away On Thursday, June 28, 2018, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Cooper Was A Homemaker And Former Family Coordinator With L.B.J. & C. Head Start In Crawford. She Was A Faithful Member Of The Monterey Church Of Christ Where She Served As A Sunday School Teacher And A Deacon’s Wife. She Is Survived By Her Husband Of Almost 63 Years, Roil Winston Cooper Of Hanging Limb; 1 Daughter And Son-In-Law, Ruby Ann And Mark Hershey Of Hanging Limb; 2 Sons And Daughters-In-Law, Bro. Alan And Lisa Cooper Of Nolensville, TN, Bro. Ned And Neva Cooper Of North Platte, NE; 6 Grandchildren, Nathan Cooper, Stephen Cooper, Adam Hershey, Jacob Hershey, Chad Manweiler And Nathan Manweiler; 14 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Lois Lipp Of Valparaiso, IN; And Brother, Bill Dixon Of North Carolina. In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Sister, Nancy Dixon. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Monday, July 2, 2018, From 5:00 PM Until 8:00 PM And On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, From 9:00 AM Until Time Of Services At 11:00 AM.
