James Tinch, Age 95, Of Monterey, Tennessee, And Formerly Of Monroe, Tennessee. Mr. Tinch Passed Away On Friday, February 16, 2018 At Standing Stone Care And Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Arrangements Are Incomplete.

Mr. William James (Bud) Keaton III, 49, of Cookeville passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his home from a long term illness. Bud was born in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday, August 1, 1968 to the late William James, Jr and Mary Evelyn (Smith) Keaton. Bud loved spending time with his family and friends. Bud is survived by: Wife: Patricia Keaton; Son: Rusty and Kimmy Keaton; 3 Daughters: Ashley Keaton and Bubba, Brittany and Sara Messmann, Samantha Keaton; 10 Grandchildren; 3 Sisters: Mary Bumbalough, Darlene and Don Gilbert, Rosie and Danny Saterfield; Brother: Jesse Keaton; 2 Special Friends: Tracy Denton and Heather Callahan. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by: Niece, Brandy Sutton and Two sisters, Nancy Shields and Barbara Chason. Bud chose cremation and the family followed his wishes and A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Alfred Dennis Wallace, age 62 of the Bon Air Community, will be conducted 10:00am Saturday, February 17, 2018 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Following his funeral Mr. Wallace will be cremated and his cremated remains will be buried in Saylors Cemetery. Dennis passed away Wednesday morning February 14, 2018 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital. Dennis was born June 29, 1955 in White County to the late Charles & Bernice Smith Wallace. He was a former White County Ambulance Driver and received many pins for his professional accomplishments. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish. Dennis could also be described as a Jack of All Trades, he had carpentry, woodworking skills and later became skilled in glass etching. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a sister Charlene Wallace. His surviving family members include his wife of 35 years Glynda Nash Wallace of Sparta; Three children: Angel Wallace & Gary of Altamonte Springs, Florida, Sabrina Curtis, Daniel Wallace and wife Emily all of Sparta; Sister: Reba Sherrell and husband Robert of Battle Ground, Washington; Five grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Jerry Nash will officiate.

Funeral services for Willis Dale “Mutt” Brock, 84 of Sparta, will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Barry Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. He passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta. Born Saturday, November 25, 1933 in Sparta, he was the son of the late Willie and Magdalene Hickenbottom Brock. He was the husband of Corena Brock. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Corena Brock of Sparta; Sons, Jerry Dale Brock of Sparta and Willard (Patty) Brock of Smithville; Granddaughters, Laura (Jon) Foutch of Liberty; Renee (David) Close of Alexandria; Great grandchildren, Kelsey (Brandon) Pyles of Liberty; Alexandria and Elijah Foutch of Liberty; Ben and Evan Close of Alexandria. Great great grandchildren, Miah Johnson and Knox Pyles of Liberty. Visitation will be from 3pm until 8pm at the funeral home on Friday, February 16, 2018.

Funeral Services for Gladys P. Mills, age 87, of Cookeville, will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17th in the Chapel of Presley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Marlow Cemetery, McBroom Branch Rd., Baxter, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Friday, February 16th, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Service at 11:00 a.m. at Presley Funeral Home. She was born November 12, 1930 to the late Ridley and Mattie McHenry. She grew up in the Martin’s Creek community. Mrs. Mills was a homemaker and a babysitter for her six grandchildren and countless other children over the years who affectionately called her Granny Mills. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning. Her family will always remember the chocolate gravy and homemade biscuits that she was known for.

Funeral services for Mr. Douglas MacAurther Chaffin, age 75 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday February 17th at 11am in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Edgefield Cemetery in Pickett County. Mr. Chaffin died Wednesday February 14, 2018, 2018 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

A time of visitation for William Robert “Bobby” Robinson, Jr., age 81 of Sparta, will be held Saturday February 17, 2018 from 2-5:00pm at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home where friends and family can gather to tell stories and celebrate Bobby. At Bobby’s request he will be cremated following the visitation services. Bobby was born September 16, 1946 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late William Robert & Geneva Randolph Robinson. He graduated with a master’s degree from Tennessee Tech University and began a teaching career at Doyle school. After the death of his father, he stopped teaching to help his mother with the family grocery store, Robinson’s Grocery. Bobby was a sports fan, an avid reader, a history buff and a world traveler. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his uncle Charles Robinson and a best friend Ronnie Clark. A Celebration Of Life Gathering For Gary Carr, Age 67, Of Livingston, Tennessee, Will Be Held On Saturday, February 17, 2018, At Independence Community Church, 1922 Willow Grove Highway, Monroe, Tennessee, From 3:00 PM Until 5:00 PM. Mr. Carr Passed Away On Tuesday, February 13, 2018, At Livingston Regional Hospital. Mr. Carr Was Born On May 25, 1950, In Livingston, Tennessee, To The Late Bryant And Trelba Copeland Carr. Mr. Carr Was Plant Manager At KMA Manufacturing In Livingston For Many Years. He Also Worked At Certified Cylinders In Crossville, Tennessee. He Was A Member Of Shepherd’s Chapel Pastor Arnold Murray Ministries. He Is Survived By His Wife, Emogene Phillips Carr Of Livingston, TN; Son And Daughter-In-Law, Shane And Crystal Nelson Of Livingston, TN; Grandchildren, Jayden Nelson And Justus Nelson; Stepdaughters, Christy Fitton Of Sparta, TN, Vickie (And Johnie) Reels Of Livingston, TN; Step Grandchildren, Dylan Durham, Damien Durham, Travis Fitton, Chuck (And Angie) Reels, Kim (And Scott) Watson; 10 Step Great Grandchildren; And Brother, Tony Carr Of Livingston, TN. Funeral services for Miss Earl D Burks, 93 of Rickman, will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Turkey Town Cemetery of Clay Co., TN. Miss Earl D Burks age 93 of the Rickman Community of Overton Co., TN passed away suddenly at her residence on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Miss Earl D Burks was born in Celina, Clay Co., TN on March 30, 1924 to the late Charlie and Minnie Myrtle (Boles) Burks. She was Christian in faith. Survivors include: 3 Nephews and 2 Nieces; Paris (Linda) Brewer Jr. of Rickman, Lynda (Edmond) Nelson Ryan of Rickman, Roy (Robin) Brewer of Pleasant Shade, Randy Brewer of Rickman and Vickie Brown of Hardy’s Chapel, 16 Great Nieces and Nephews, Numerous Great Great Nieces and Nephews, First Cousins, Family and Friends. In addition to her parents: Charlie and Minnie Burks; Miss Burks was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Mildred Louise Burks Brewer and Beatrice Burks Thomas, 2 Brothers-in-law: Dillon Thomas and Paris Brewer Sr., 2 Nephews: Charles William Thomas and Rodney Dale Thomas. Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Maxwell Ledbetter, age 62, of Livingston, will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, February 18, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Phyllis Maxwell Ledbetter passed from this life on Monday afternoon, February 12, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Jackson County on September 28, 1955 to Billy and Villa Thompson Maxwell. She was a 1973 graduate of Livingston Academy. She worked in data entry manufacturing rubber stamps and signs. Phyllis was Christian in faith. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and she enjoyed going to flea market auctions and yard sales. She loved her grandchildren and her cats very much. Phyllis is survived by her son, Bradley Gore and wife Stacey of Cookeville; parents, Billy and Villa Maxwell of Hilham; step-daughter, Marsha Wyatt of Cookeville; 2 grandchildren, Makiyah Gore and Malia Gore; 2 step-grandchildren, Aiden Wyatt and Ashlyn Wyatt; sister, Angela Hester of Livingston, TN; and brother, Billy Maxwell Jr. and wife LouAnn of Hilham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Ledbetter and step-son, Michael Ledbetter Jr. The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening, February 17, 2018 from 4 until 8 p.m.

Funeral Arrangements For Donald Cleghorn, Age 78, Of Algood, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted On Sunday, February 18, 2018, At 2:00 PM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Interment Will Follow In The F.A. Norrod Cemetery. Mr. Cleghorn Passed Away On Thursday, February 15, 2018, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Saturday, February 17, 2018, From 5:00 PM Until 8:00 PM. A Complete Obituary Will Be Posted When Arrangements Are Finalized.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday February 20 at 10 a.m. at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for Mrs. Lida Cannella, age 94 of Cookeville. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Cannella’s family will receive friends Monday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Mrs. Cannella died Thursday February 15, 2018 at 5:30 a.m. at Heritage Pointe Assisted Living in Cookeville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice 1080 Neal Street Cookeville, TN 38501.

Funeral services for Judith (Judi) Ann Dobbins Williams, age 74, of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday February 21 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Bro. John Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery. Judi passed away Thursday afternoon February 15, 2018 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
