An ATV crash in Macon County has claimed the life of a Red Boiling Springs man.
The accident happened Monday evening in the southbound lane of Jim Town Road.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officials identified the deceased as 58-year-old Mikie G. Meador.
A crash report said Meador failed to negotiate a right hand curve, causing his Polaris Ranger to travel off the left side of the roadway and strike a ditch. Officials said Meador was ejected from the vehicle when it overturned.
The report noted that Meador was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
