Tuesday’s rain had a big impact on the White County Fair.
Fair board member Paul Flatt said the weather caused some changes in Tuesday evening’s activities.
“We will not be having the track and field due to the weather, the rain. We will have the beef show and the talent show, the talent show will be inside the complex, of course we will not have the commercial building or the Benton building open due to the weather,” Flatt said.
Flatt said he believed the midway might also be shut down for the evening. Fair board members hope some better weather heads into the area for Wednesday.
“If the rain holds off for tonight and don’t get any worse, if the weather will permit, the sun and wind will come out, we’ll hopefully have our pony show,” Flatt said.
The White County Fair will continue through Saturday.
