Rail Trail Authority Asking For Help With Naming Trail

The Tennessee Central Heritage Rail Trial Authority is asking the public for help in coming up with a name for the trail that’s been open for nearly a year ad a half.

The 4.2 mile trail runs along the railroad tracks from the Cookeville Depot to the Algood ball fields.

Submissions must not be more than two words and can’t be the name of a person or existing trial.

The selected name will be placed on the bicycle arch that is currently under construction near the Cookeville Depot and is expected to be done in June.
