Quattlebaum Remembered For Her Service To Others

Tennessee Tech emeritus faculty member Dr. Rebecca Quattlebaum died Thursday at the age of 78.

Emeritus President Dr. Angelo Volpe remembered Quattlebaum as someone who helped others.

“Just being in her company was just a nice part of the day, you know, and I recall some times when things were going a little hectic on the job, sitting down with Rebecca, you come away feeling better,” Volpe said.

Quattlebaum was a long time teacher and administrator. When she retired in 2001, she was granted the title of emeritus Professor of Psychology and Dean of Graduate Studies and Extended Education.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cookeville First Methodist Church.
