Putnam Senior Center Gets $10,000 Budget Reduction Cancelled

Putnam County Executive Randy Porter said the county Senior Center got $10,000 in funding restored at a county budget hearing Monday.

“The budget committee met last night and they heard from schools, property assessor, the senior citizens and they did give them back the 10k they had cut out,” Porter said.

The budget procedure has been going on for several weeks now, but Porter said the procedure is nearly finished.

The committee will meet again next week.
