Director Of Schools Corby King told parents that any type of remote learning process would look much different in the fall. King said students would need to login and interact with teachers on a daily basis. Assignments would be graded.
King said the system currently has five scenarios being considered for circumstances this school year. This includes a normal reopening. The system also considering that some parents may choose to keep students out of school to work remotely. The third scenario includes a COVID-19 absence for an individual student. Scenario four involves a school will 15-20 percent absences because of COVID-19 or flu. The fifth scenario would be a system-wide closing due to illness.
