The Putnam County School Board recognized six students who scored a perfect 36 on the ACT for the latest school year.
Four of the six students attended Thursday night’s School Board Meeting. Director of Schools Corby King said the students represent the best of the county.
“It was unheard of when we were in school and we have students who are hitting that mark,” King said. “We wanted to just publicly recognize them tonight and congratulate them and the parents who are here. These are the kids we want to have in class and I know big things are in their future.”
The six students are Trace Anderson, Samuel Canfield, Brayden Gallagher, Peter Goodman, Jonathan Hill, and Katherine Smith.
