Putnam County’s high schools are preparing for graduation.
“We’re excited about graduation ceremonies for the graduating class of 2017, we have about 800 students graduating,” Director of Schools Jerry Boyd said.
Upperman High will graduate Friday, May 19 at Tennessee Tech’s Hooper Eblen Center.
Cookeville High’s commencement will take place Saturday morning, also at the Hooper Eblen Center.
Monterey High will hold their ceremonies Saturday afternoon at the school.
