Putnam Educator, Cumberland Special Ed Director Finalists For State Honors

Jere Whitson Principal Tina Francis-Hodges has been named one of nine finalists for the state’s Principal Of The Year award.

The state also announced Cumberland County Director Of Special Education Marlene Holton as a finalist for the Supervisor of the Year award.

The list of finalists includes three candidates in each of the three grand divisions. Winners will be selected this fall. The next step in the process will be in-person interviews by Department of Education staff and state education leaders.
