Fentress County citizens will soon have a chance to provide input on existing and future park opportunities.
County Executive J. Michael Cross said a public open house will be held October 3rd at 4:00 p.m. inside the Fentress County Courthouse.
“Obviously if we are expanding our parks and recreations then we want the community to have a part in this,” Cross said.
The city currently has an engineering firm conducting evaluations on the county’s park system. The county also has plans to construct a new recreation park on a 33-acre property located off Highway 127 near Faith Christian Academy.
