Progress Being Made On New Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic

Progress continues to be made on the new Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic on North Dixie Avenue.

“The building is paid for, which is what’s so exciting to me,” Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic Executive Director Nancy Knowlton said. “The generosity of this town is just amazing. We had two $100,000 matching grants and it’s taken care of. Anything else that comes in goes towards our remodel and it’s basically paid for too.”

Knowlton said workers have started painting the exterior of the new building and move-in day will hopefully be March 24th.

Knowlton said she hopes to officially open the new location in early April.

For the past 29 years the Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic has been located on South Willow Avenue.
