Plane Crashes In Warren County

A plane has crashed into a field off of Tennessee Highway 287 and Sherell Road in Warren County.

Officials with the FAA said the aircraft crashed as it tried to land at Warren County Memorial Airport in McMinnville around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

The plane suffered damage from a fire during the crash, according to officials.

The condition and names of the people on board were not immediately known.

FAA investigators will likelty arrive on scene tomorrow to begin their investigation.
