Pickett SD Gets Narcan Training

Pickett County Sheriff’s office employees recently received training in Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan.

The employees will be able to use the drug to potentially reverse opioid overdoses.

The state will provide Narcan to law enforcement statewide.

The training was provided by Tommy and Suzanne Angel of the Smith County Drug Prevention Coalition and was free for the sheriff’s department.
