Pedestrian Struck On North Washington, Critical Condition

A 65-year old Cookeville man remains in critical condition after being hit by a truck Thursday.

Ad E. Landers was walking southbound on North Washington Avenue, crossing Broad Struck. A 2001 red Chevrolet driven by 27-year old Joshua Phann of Cookeville struck Landers. The truck was making a left turn on East Broad Street when the accident happened, according to police reports.

Landers suffered a head injury and was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
