A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in Putnam County Wednesday night.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 28-year-old Randall Bilbrey of Bloomington Springs.
The incident happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 56 at Hulon Ferrell Road. A crash report said Bilbrey was struck by a 2013 Buick, driven by 50-year-old Patrick King of Cookeville.
Authorities did not file any charges following the incident and King did not suffer any injuries.
