Putnam County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested two people on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
Jackie Mayberry is now under a $100,000 bond at the Putnam County Jail, while Nichole Kappelman is also jailed under a $35,000 bond.
Authorities said Mayberry and Nichols occupied a vehicle that crashed near Gainesboro Grade earlier this month.
Authorities said they searched the vehicle and found prescription pills, a large quantity of crystal substance, digital scales, empty packaging materials, multiple firearms, unknown powders and multiple firearms along with $7,000 cash.
Mayberry is also charged with possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Kappelman is also facing a charge of possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony.
