Three men arrested Thursday in Putnam County on drug related charges following a home search by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with a search warrant investigated a home in the Candyland area between Cookeville and Algood. 38-year-old Deon Larkins, 31-year-old Skylar Powell and 26-year-old Christopher McCathern charged for numerous crimes.
Officials found firearms and illegal narcotics including fentanyl, heroine, methamphetamine, and marijuana.
Powell’s bond set at $110,000 for tampering/destroying evidence, sell and delivery of schedule I, schedule II, and schedule VI drugs. McCathern charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felony and drug possession. Larkins violated his White County parole and had an active warrant for domestic abuse in Cookeville.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the individuals all have prior arrest records as well as some having gang affiliation. Their court dates set for December 12th.
