Livingston Boil Water Advisory Lifted

Livingston lifted the Boil Water Advisory Saturday afternoon. Officials placed the advisory in place for Livingston, Monroe and Alpine after a Friday pipe rupture on Highway 111 Bypass. Sparta officials will begin the negotiation process to purchase a 120-acre lot in the city bordering Winding Lane. Aldermen agreed to beginning negotiations. Cookeville City Council approved a change order of some $188,000 to the South Jefferson Avenue sewer rehab project.
