Overton, Livingston Searching for Kentucky Double Murder Suspects

The Livingston Police Department and Overton County Sheriff’s Department are following leads on two suspects in a Kentucky double homicide on Sunday.

The two suspects have been identified as 29 year old Edward Whiteledge of California and 28 year old Kayla Spivey of the Hillman community of Clay County.

The two could be driving a black Nissan Altima with a Tennessee Tag # DP68781. Overton County Sheriff John Garrett said anyone who spots these two should cautiously try and get information for law enforcement.

“If you see these people out in public, don’t approach, don’t make eye contact, just discreetly call local authorities,” Garrett said. “Make them aware of what you see, where you see it, when you see it.”

Garrett said Kentucky State Patrol made law enforcement aware of Kayla Spivey’s ties to Overton County on Thursday. Garrett said their exact location is unknown, but anyone with information should contact their local authorities.

“That put us way behind with those folks possibly being in our area maybe for a day or two days, maybe even three days,” Garrett said.

The double homicide occurred in Monroe County, Kentcuky. Anyone with information related to the two suspects or black Nissan Altima should contact Livingston Police or the Overton County Sheriff’s Department.
