Livingston Overton County Chamber of Commerce will host a job fair Saturday to help fill industrial jobs.
Executive Director Shannon Cantrell said five employers will be present looking to hire.
“Each company will have their own booth set up and will be willing to have conversations with each of you about what your expectations and what their expectations are,” Cantrell said. “And you should be able to apply for a position on the spot.”
Cantrell said the hiring event will run from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Joe L. Evins Community Center on Broad Street. Cantrell said the Chamber’s industrial partners have struggled with finding employees, so plenty of opportunities are available.
‘Treat it as a job opportunity as soon as you walk through the door,” Cantrell said. “Treat it as an interview, and come like you would if you were going to interview with one of these prospective employers.”
ABC INOAC, Wascon Inc., Tanimura and Antle, Hutchinson and Parker will be the participating companies.
