A single vehicle crash claimed the life of a Doyle man Wednesday.
The accident happened on White County’s Memorial Highway. The deceased is identified as 48-year-old Richard C. Garrett Jr.
Authorities said Garrett was traveling south in a 2017 Ford when he crossed the median and entered the northbound lane. Garrett’s vehicle traveled off the northbound shoulder and came to a rest in a patch of trees.
Garrett was transported to a hospital and later pronounced deceased.
