One person has died in a single-vehicle accident on I-40.
The THP said the accident occurred near the 263 mile marker in the westbound lane. A tractor trailer reportedly ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The driver of the tractor trailer is deceased.
The right lane westbound is closed and will remain closed for an extended period of time while emergency services clears the scene.
