One person is dead and two others wounded following a Saturday evening shooting in Cumberland County.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reports the shooting occurred around 6:38 p.m. along Cherokee Trail.
CCSO states three victims were transported to Cumberland Medical Center (CMC) in Crossville. One was pronounced dead, while another is expected to be taken to a regional trauma center for further treatment. The third victim is being treated at CMC.
The conditions of the second and third victims have not been released at this time.
The situation is still under investigation by CCSO and TBI officials.
